EARLY MORNING ENCOUNTERS

by Lillian Ireland

Stepping onto the sunlit trail, with not a soul in sight,

The morning air breathes Welcome Home – let go of your thoughts for awhile.

Numbing news will still be there, of folks near and across the globe,

But for now, you’re here with me, it’s time for you to let go…

You’ll find healing in my towering trees as the sunbeam crosses my trail,

The Steller’s jay and robin will greet with their morning song,

The trilliums will wave gently from the base of my reaching trees.

Spring’s countless colours, I offer you,

Take them in, become one, welcome home…

  1. Your beautiful photographs and writing go immediately from my mind to my heart Lillian. This means so much for elders like me who are seeking to flow our being in this direction. Namaste.
